Yuba County

Yuba County is located in California’s Central Valle along the Feather River on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada. Its area is 644 square miles. The steep mountain slopes facilitate the hydroelectric power plants that have be developed there. On the valley floor, the land is used for agricultural, especially fruit orchards, cattle grazing, and rice fields. Plumas National Forest and Tahoe National Forest are in Yuba County as well.

Current county population is about 77,000, with a median household income of $48,739. The median home value is $255,300.
